Let’s face it the moment your kids get their first piece of candy in the bucket their sugar levels are going up. So why not have healthy, fun meals throughout the day. It will help you feel better about the candy later on! 🙂
These delicious and healthy pancakes are a great way to get halloween off to a great start. At our house it was also an educational experience for me, I learned that these webs we made most resembled the webs made by the globe spider the only spider that spins a golden web (My kids are info sponges, and way smarter than me).
Creamy Sweet Potato Stew (Goblin Goo Stew)
We affectionately gave this stew an alternate name (to get the kids to take a bite). Once they try it they like it! This stew is chock full of healthy veggies carbs and even protein, making you and the kids smile! 🙂
Finally My favorite, Dinner! With the main event Mummy Turkey Meatloaf! The kids love it and they are so much fun to put together. It is the perfect thing to send those little trick-or treaters into the night with! These tasty mini meatloafs will get your little monsters asking for more, and who knows, they may be so full they won’t have room for all that candy!
