Let’s face it. Halloween is a tempting time, with so many, yummy, cute treats to throw you off your goals. I love getting into the holiday so fun treats like this make it easier to stay on track and still develop fun family traditions. The recipe is a favorite of the Jensen clan Peanut Butter Power Fudge! but we make a few adjustments to add some holiday flare! First Grind up the oats to make oat flour. This gives you a softer more pliable consistancey so you can shape the fuge the way you want (and it keeps my picky eaters happy).
Once you have mixed everything together press in molds and place in the freezer or 5-10 minutes. I found my cute pumpkin ice cube trays at the dollar store! There are so many options out there so get creative! Pop them out off the tray and they are ready to decorate!
I melted dark chocolate chips in the micowave. It is super simple. Place about 1/4 a cup of chocolate chips in a bowl change your power level to 50% and set for 1 min. Stir then set for an additional 30 sec until chips are completely melted. Pour chocolate into zip lock bag and cut a tiny part of one of the corners of th bag off. You ant to start really small, this is tiny work so keep it small. Get the kiddos involved! So much fun and such a great treat, no refined sugars and use guten free oats to meet your gluten free needs.
